Todd Phillips
Pastor, Frontline Church- Washington D.C.
As the pastor of Frontline Church in Washington D.C., Todd Phillips is leading one of the most well respected and looked to churches in the country for ministry to 20 and 30-somethings.
It was Todd’s active involvement in pursuing people for the kingdom of God that led him to start a small Bible study which would eventually develop into Austin Metro, a citywide singles ministry created to reach out to those in Austin, Texas who did not have a relationship with God and those who had turned away from God and needed a first step back into the church.
In January of 1997, Todd helped start San Antonio Metro, which grew into the largest weekly event of its kind in San Antonio, reaching over 1500 singles at its largest gathering. The next year a small group of devoted attendees of San Antonio Metro approached Todd and asked him to help them start an event in their town of Kerrville to reach unchurched young people. Over the next four years, a church called The Soul Café was developed in Kerrville with Todd serving as the teaching pastor.
Since January of 2005 Todd has been serving at Frontline Church as the leading pastor. He also speaks to people of all ages at retreats, events, churches and conferences. These events include Fusion and Leadnow conferences, which are created by Rightnow, a division of Bluefish TV. He continually shows God’s light to non-believers while inspiring Christians to ‘get out of their box’ and remember their calling (Matthew 28:18-20).
In 2004, Todd finished writing his first book, Spiritual CPR: Reviving a Flat-lined Generation. He and wife, Julie, have three children.
